RVR News

October 2020

Things have certainly been a little different here in the workshop these last few months, but we have been extremely busy with a few restoration projects.

One of our favourites was this stunning Triumph TR3 which was recently collected by the owners. We are so pleased with how it turned out and cannot wait to see it all fitted up.

Don’t forget to head over to our Instagram ‘@rvrclassics’ or Facebook ‘RVR Classics’ for more updates.

Hello Everyone,

Due to the current isolation restrictions, we are unfortunately not able to give any access to the public.

However, we do have repairs to be getting on with and Restorations Projects on the go, so we will continue to work on these.

Rest assured, we are sticking to the Social Distancing restrictions and are keeping a safe distance away from one another. We are wearing the correct PPE equipment so that we keep ourselves and our families safe.

Phone calls will be taken and emails will be replied to.

Stay safe everyone and take care of yourselves!

Series 1 Roadster

We are really pleased with the finish on this stunning Series  1 Roadster in Opalescent Dark Blue.

MK1 2 door Range Rover Shell

Over the last few months, we have been working on this Range Rover shell. The customer requested that it was finished in Santorini Black, which was a great choice, as the finished result looks fantastic.

We carried out some minor fabrication work before preparing the vehicle for paint. We then finished with the colour coat inside and out, using Lechler paint products throughout.

Finally, we did a full flat and polish to the entire shell for that perfect finish.

February 2020
This Lotus Cortina is ready to leave the workshop for its final fit up. The Rocker Cover has been refinished to replicate how it would have looked in its year of manufacture.

January 2020

It’s been a busy start to the year for us so far. This week’s project has been a 1969 2+2 E-Type Jaguar in Carmen Red. It was originally a full restoration that we did back in 2016 and has come back for a full polish ready for the show season.

Silverstone Classic Event

We really enjoyed watching this MGB racing at Silverstone last Weekend.  It came to us on Monday last week for some repair work after a slight altercation at Donnington.   After a couple of long days and nights and great team work we were able to have it all ready for the engine to go back in by Wednesday lunchtime!
